Bad Faith Insurance

It has been mentioned elsewhere on this site that no insurance company is really out there to help you. And just as doctors and lawyers can make mistakes, insurance companies can too. When an insurance company makes a mistake, it usually exposes the insured person to being personally responsible for very large amounts of money - money they likely don't have, or can't afford to lose.

Insurance companies are regulated by the Texas Department of Insurance. State laws set standards for the time insurance companies have to respond to claims. Other requirements can dictate what is fair or reasonable out of an insurance company.
